The raw materials supplied can take various forms (grain, flour, starch, dried fruit, etc.) in various types of packaging (bags, big-bags, bulk). Once they have been processed, the products may be packaged in drums, containers, bulk, bags or big-bags.

Meurens Natural's know-how is based on using natural enzymes (no GMOs) to process the whole grain and not just the starch (standard glucose industry practice).
The hydrolysis of the whole grain using the company's unique process (without any chemical additives) guarantees the finished products retain as many of the raw materials' natural properties as possible (see filtration).

With the Meurens Natural approach, this stage is exclusively carried out mechanically, without using technical agents and standard chemicals (no ion exchange resins), as these are inconsistent with natural and organic requirements.
As a result, a maximum amount of nutriments and trace elements are preserved along with the unique characteristics of the raw material, such as flavour and colour.

Various technologies are available, including a vacuum evaporator making it possible to retain the initial organoleptic characteristics (taste and colour) of the raw material.
The finished products available at the end of this stage are ready for packaging immediately or for bulk storage, while the semi-finished products are earmarked for drying or mixing.
