Reducing our environmental impact

Our production facilities integrate environmental performance into every stage of our operations. Our natural processes, which do not rely on chemicals, are continuously optimized to reduce resource consumption and minimize our environmental footprint.

Our efforts focus on four key areas:

  • Energy: biogas and heat recovery, solar panel installations and continuous improvements in energy efficiency improvements.
  • Water: on-site wastewater treatment, water reuse and consumption monitoring.
  • Waste: sorting, recycling and reuse of packaging and recyclable materials.
  • By-products: upcycling our by-products into high-value protein concentrates.

LOCAL SOURCING

We prioritize sourcing through short supply chains and regional supply chains whenever possible. This approach helps reduce transportation distances while building long-term relationships with our suppliers based on trust and shared commitments.

MAKING BETTER USE OF RESOURCES

Our suppliers contribute to the circular economy by giving processing by-products a new purpose. Hulls, sorting residues and other natural fractions are put to use in various applications, including animal feed, biogas production and renewable energy generation.
