We expect you to…

Your role will be to

  • Formulate and develop strategies and guidelines for quality and certifications that are aligned with Meurens Natural’s long-term vision
  • Define, update, and approve procedures, processes, and quality standards. Perform the final review of all validation protocols
  • Oversee activities related to the company’s various certifications (FSSC 22000, Organic, Halal, Kosher, SMETA, CSR, etc.) as well as internal, customer, and supplier audits
  • Provide guidance on quality control for our products and answer questions from customers and regulatory authorities
  • Lead the Quality Department, manage and develop its staff
  • Actively maintain external and internal contacts and build a network to optimize efficiency and collaboration in support of the company’s strategy
  • Serve as a benchmark for quality within the company.

You are…

  • Bioengineer or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering Sciences with a focus on agronomy
  • Has 10 to 15 years of experience in the food industry producing ingredients similar to those made by Meurens Natural
  • Familiar with QA and QC procedures, standards and certifications (including environmental and CSR standards), customer and supplier audits, and managing customer complaints and responses
  • In-depth knowledge of grains, the biochemistry of carbohydrates and proteins, and healthy eating
  • Completely fluent in French and English
  • “SME mindset” and a sense of responsibility
  • Management and team leadership skills (expert-level roles) and project management skills
  • Strong cross-functional interpersonal skills
  • An educator and a true ambassador for quality.
