We expect you to…

Your role will be to

• Define and implement a Research & Development strategy aligned with Meurens Natural’s long-term vision
• Identify opportunities for the development of new products, processes, and applications, as well as developments in raw materials and technologies
• Manage a variety of projects in accordance with the plan established by the Product Innovation Committee
• Develop effective methods and organizational structures for project management
• Manage and develop the staff of the department, which consists of engineers and laboratory technicians
• Work closely with the Quality, Sales & Marketing, Production, and Supply Chain departments.
• Actively maintain external and internal contacts and build a network to optimize efficiency and collaboration in support of the company’s strategy
• Serving as a scientific resource within the company

You are…

• Bioengineer, Ph.D. or Master’s degree in industrial engineering and agricultural sciences
• Has 10 to 15 years of experience in the food industry producing ingredients similar to those of Meurens Natural
• In-depth knowledge of grains, the biochemistry of carbohydrates and proteins, and healthy eating
• Proven expertise in project management and predictive modeling
• Completely fluent in French and English

• Team and project management skills
• Strong cross-functional interpersonal skills
• Analytical and critical thinking skills that enable you to challenge assumptions and make effective decisions.
